this policy explains what data prowly collects, how it is used, and how you can request its deletion.
when you interact with prowly, the following information may be stored:
prowly offers an optional /donate command that allows users to voluntarily submit a google gemini api key or nvidia api key to expand the bot's capacity. if you choose to donate a key:
to revoke a donated key, simply delete or regenerate it in google ai studio (for gemini) or build.nvidia.com (for nvidia). the key will be automatically detected as invalid and removed from the pool within an hour. you may also contact the bot owner directly to request immediate removal.
prowly uses the google gemini api and the nvidia api to power AI responses. messages and images you send to AI features are transmitted to these providers' servers for processing. this is required for those features to function. there is no way to use prowly's AI features without this. each provider's use of this data is governed by their own privacy policies: google, nvidia.
prowly also queries third-party APIs including Roblox, Steam, Rotector, Ropro, TASE, Safebooru, Urban Dictionary, and DownDetector. only publicly available data or data you explicitly provide (such as a roblox username or steam game name) is sent to these services.
beyond these necessary service providers, your data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
your data is retained until you request deletion. server data is automatically purged if prowly is removed from a server. tags are stored until deleted by the user who created them. we do not otherwise automatically purge data on inactivity.
download and OCR files are temporary: they are processed immediately and deleted from our systems afterward. litterbox-hosted files expire according to their retention settings (default 1 hour).
when you use prowly, the following command activity is logged for moderation and abuse-prevention purposes:
command logs are accessible only to the bot owner. they are not shared with third parties, server administrators, or other users. logs are stored permanently and may be reviewed when investigating reports of abuse, terms-of-service violations, or security incidents.
you have commands available to manage your data:
/tag delete — removes a specific tag from your server/ai config — allows you to remove memorys of yourselffor full data deletion requests (all personal data, message history, or server data), contact the bot owner directly or reach out via the support server. we will process verifiable requests within 30 days.
we take reasonable measures to protect stored data. however, no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access.

by using prowly, you acknowledge and agree that command invocations (command name, arguments, user id, server id, channel id, timestamp, and outcome) are logged for moderation and abuse-prevention. these logs are visible only to the bot owner and are stored permanently. the bot owner may review logs to investigate reports of abuse, terms-of-service violations, or security incidents, and may take enforcement action (including restricting features or removing access) based on what the logs show.
we reserve the right to restrict or remove access to prowly for any user or server violating these terms, at our sole discretion, without prior notice. this includes blacklisting from AI features or complete bot removal.
prowly is provided as-is with no warranties. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or outdated. downloads may fail due to external service changes. do not rely on the bot for critical decisions. we are not liable for any damages arising from use of the bot.
these terms may be updated at any time. continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. significant changes will be announced via the bot's support server.
